84% of the displaced families in northwest Syria now rely on humanitarian aid, amid growing concerns about the increasing need for additional assistance as winter approaches. The “Syria Response Coordinators” organization, which monitors humanitarian affairs in northwest Syria, said that civilians are unable to secure work as winter approaches compared to the summer, noting that the percentage of humanitarian needs in various sectors has increased by 18.9% compared to the previous month, while there is a 13.8% shortage in humanitarian response.

The real problem in the winter of 2023-2024 is the extent of damage to the tents that emerged dilapidated from last year’s winter.
