In just a few days, the new academic year (2024-2025) will begin, and thousands of children in the camps of northern Syria will return to their classrooms. This yearning to meet friends and quench their thirst for knowledge is overshadowed by their limited resources. Economic capabilities barely provide the family with sustenance, so how can they afford school supplies such as bags, pens, and notebooks?

Dozens of students are forced today to carry their books in plastic bags or bags torn apart by years of displacement.
The school bag is one of the most important elements that help a child carry the weight of their books in a healthy and sound manner for their body. Therefore, the Ghهras Al Khair Humanitarian Society is resuming its “School Bag” campaign to respond to the displaced in northern Syria, targeting the least fortunate families to help their children enter schools and reduce dropout rates.
The “School Bag” campaign covers 500 students and includes school supplies such as bags and stationery for students to cover part of their basic needs and alleviate the burden on their families. A little means a lot to them.
